2005 Picnic Group

1962 GROUP SATURDAY EVENING

Brenda Bunn, Peggy Ratliff & Florence Care attended a luncheon with 1961 gals in Abingdon on Friday. There was a social time at the breaks on Friday night. Some folks stayed at The Breaks, others went back to the Comfort Inn or home or with relatives.

Class of 1962 met for lunch in Grundy and had a "1st timer" join us. Jimmy Curry and wife Rowena have moved from California to Kingsport and this was their first reunion. Jimmy says, "he will be back".

We met back at The Breaks for a lovely dinner and more visiting. Jim Mays had an agenda that generated lots of laughter and memories. There were powerpoint displays and memorabilia. Folks had a good time and it was nice to blend with the other classes.

Larry Davis with Phyllis Dales '63, Ralph Anderson '59 with Peggy Ratliff '62, Patricia Ferrell '69 with Billy Joe Ferrell '62, Kathy Dellinger Hannah '?? with Linda Dellinger '61, Rogert Stewart '61 (brother of '62 Harry Stewart). John Wayne Shortridge '61 attended on Friday.
